February 13, 2005 – Led Zeppelin are awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham (representing his father) accept the honor in person, and Robert Plant sends a video message.
February 13, 1972 – Led Zeppelin cancel a scheduled concert in Singapore because the country’s officials refuse to let the band members off the plane because of their long hair. The government deemed the popularity of the “hippie subculture” was a negative influence on their citizens.
